If you drive into Montgomery Plaza, off 7th Street in Fort Worth, from any direction and roll your windows down- you can smell it. All you have to do is sniff the air, and I am sure you can smell the deliciousness cooking up at the NEW M Bistro. I did, I have dined at the M Bistro four times now, and each time, Chef Steve Mitchell has something new and exciting for me to try.
Chef Steve has an incredible team of chefs and culinary experts. All of them are involved in creating new and exciting dishes for Fort Worth to enjoy! They have been working in secret at the “M Bistro Laboratory” to create a one of a kind, delicious, on-point cuisine with generous portions. The atmosphere is cozy but classy and spacious. They have a food bar, where you can sit, eat, and drink if you do not want a traditional table or you can sit and watch all the kitchen happenings on flat screens in real time while you eat. The bar and lounge area have TVs and is a nice size, being separated off from the main floor gives the bar an appropriately cozy vibe. They have great cocktails and offer private rooms with TVs for corporate dinners or birthday parties. M Bistro also has big, glass walls all around, so the restaurant has a hip, modern street feel as you can watch everything happening outside. All the traffic and the hustle and bustle going on around you makes you feel very alive.
They serve lunch, dinner, snacks, and NOW bunch with a bloody mary bar and a brunch bar. Sometimes he even gives FREE tacos away, yes, free tacos!
They offer a broad range of deliciousness and great items, such as starters like the “Heirloom Tomato Bruschetta,” “Avery Island Shrimp and Grits,” and my favorite the “Jalapeno Polenta Fondue.” They also offer incredibly delicious Flat Bread that I loved. They have a refreshing “Bistro Salad” that is farm fresh and on point. You can also get some great entrees like the “Spicy Lamb Meatballs On Polenta” and “Bacon Wrapped Day Boat Scallops” or the awesome “Chicken Fried Ribeye with Quail Eggs.” They have an excellent “Braised Beef Short Rib” and an amazingly appetizing “Beef Filet.”
