Good Day, SweetTooth Hounds,
The other day, I was eating dinner with a friend at the wonderful Cork and Pig Tavern and she asks me if I had heard of the new French Macaron place across the street next to the Social House. After I quit shoving food in my mouth I said, “No!” She replied, “We need to go!”
Yesterday we visited the new POP UP, Savor Patisserie, a French macaron bakery. When we walked inside, I immediately noticed all the bright colors paired with wonderful decor. The staff spoke to us as soon as we opened the door and entered. I loved it, I think it’s extremely important for the staff to acknowledge customers has they enter. It creates a better atmosphere and makes you feel at home right away!
We looked around a bit first and then started looking at all the colorful macarons on display. I was trying to decided on flavors and finally said “Y’all just pick.” I was purchasing a pack of 10 and I wasn’t sure which ones to pick. They have a lot of flavors, anywhere between 15 and 20 different ones. A few of their different macaroons include blue coconut, s’mores, lemon, champagne, vanilla, and beyond. The place smelled so good, I wanted to eat the counters. It was also very, very clean and inviting which also makes things more enjoyable. We eat with our eyes so if a place is colorful, clean, bright, and has great aromas I’m all in– both feet, hands, my whole body really and look out because I don’t play when it comes to chow, sweets, and drinks!!
Everything tasted amazing, and all the flavors where on point and each one tasted like a bit of Macaron Heaven.
Check them out today and Chow Down on some awesome, colorful macarons from Savor Patisserie, off West 7th in Fort Worth.
