Last weekend, we celebrated Jana’s birthday, and if you’ve been following our nationwide food and travel adventures, you know just how special she is to me and the incredible work she does to keep Trey’s Chow Down brands thriving.

When I asked her where she wanted to celebrate, she gazed at me with those big, beautiful eyes and said, “Why not Piattello for some mouthwatering Italian food?” So off we went!

I’ve known Chef Marcus for years, and one thing you can always count on is this: the atmosphere is nothing short of PERFECT! The food? Absolutely DELICIOUS! The cocktails? Pure bliss! The service? Exceptional! The overall experience? UNFORGETTABLE!A bowl of creamy tomato pasta garnished with cheese and herbs.

Piattello is a remarkable from-scratch restaurant concept by the creative executive chef and restaurateur Marcus Paslay. Their seasonally rotating menu showcases fresh, hearty Italian dishes, including housemade breads, pastas, charcuterie, and pizzas. Plus, the Coffee Bar serves top-notch coffee from local AVOCA Coffee Roasters.

As soon as we pushed the door open, our extraordinary culinary journey began! We kicked things off with enticing craft cocktails and a selection of fresh, delicious starters. We savored the nightly special alongside some incredible from-scratch menu items, complemented by their irresistible house garlic bread. Every bite was a testament to freshness and flavor, making our meal truly unforgettable. If you crave a dining experience filled with fresh ingredients, impeccable service, and a cozy atmosphere, Piattello is the place to be!

I’m giving them a perfect 15 out of 10 because it genuinely blew my mind! They are OFFICIALLY recognized as a Trey’s Chow Down Delicious Destination, a must-visit for all food lovers.

Side Note: We didn’t have any of our camera or lighting equipment with us because it was going to be a birthday dinner only. The dinner was so unforgettable we had to take photos for a story to share with the world.
