The moment I stepped through the doors, I knew I was in for something special. The warmth and enthusiasm of the place were instantly inviting, and when my meal arrived, it truly exceeded my expectations.
The story of Little Stack begins with a shared passion for incredible food. Kevin and Jenny Galvan launched the original Haystack in Richardson back in April 2013, fueled by a vision to create a welcoming restaurant that served fresh, delicious meals while nurturing a strong sense of community. They take great joy in the connections they foster with their guests, delighting them with the generous and mouthwatering burgers that have garnered such love from patrons.
Little Stack has taken that beloved concept and made it even more exciting! This newest addition emphasizes speed without sacrificing flavor or quality. Here, you can indulge in crave-worthy burgers, crispy fries, and delectable sides all prepared quickly but with the same commitment to fresh, high-quality ingredients that you expect from Haystack. It’s the ideal choice for those moments when you’re craving all the flavor and quality without any of the wait!
I truly appreciated the cozy, open atmosphere—they’ve designed the space to feel like home, inviting you in to relax and enjoy your meal. With a variety of freshly prepared dishes, delightful shakes, wines, and beers, it’s a spot that promises good times and easy in and out for quick service.
Here is everything I tried and enjoyed: The Unforgettable Vandy Burger, The Delicious Iron Melt, The Uniquely Different AK dog with CHILI, Haystack Salad with fried chicken, LiL Ridicious Down on the Farm Burger, LiL Big Flavor Avocado Ranch Burger, Ooey-Gooey Fried Cheese Balls, Fresh Fried Bottle Cap jalapeño bites, Fresh Fries, The OMG Haystack Onion Strings. I’m renaming the Onion Strings because with every bite I said: “OMG!” I also added some names to other menu items because everything was so flavor and delicious I felt they need some TREY-ISM’S my special touch.
