TAFB Community Kitchen Tarrant Area Food Bank (TAFB) Community Kitchen is a 16-week program that provides free culinary job training to men and women from all backgrounds.

Students learn from a TAFB professional chef, receive coaching in life skills and job readiness and showcase their new skills at on-site catering events for TAFB. Owner “Adam Jones”

Good Day,
Some years back- I can’t even remember how long ago now, I met this Chef and his name was Blaine Staniford. I enjoyed meeting Blaine and loved discussing food together. Blaine always likes to discuss his food and dishes with a passion. Time has evolved since then and so has GRACE, www.facebook.com/Grace-50687573514/Fort Worth.

The owner, Dain “Adam†Jones, focuses on providing the best dining experience possible, and Chef Blaine Stanford focuses on creating creative, colorful and delicious dishes. Chef Blaine works hard at his seasonal dish creations, and his flavor profiles are always on point. He changes his menu 4 to 6 times a year to keep up with the seasons, or just whenever he feels like adding something new.

Brunch Perfection At Souk !

Moroccan Theme.

They roughly describe Souk at Trinity Groves as Moroccan street eats in a warm, festive space with outdoor seating and a hookah lounge with belly dancing. I would just say, “Souk is Modern Moroccan Perfection.”

I was introduced to Souk, through the new Trinity Groves development in Dallas a few weeks ago. I looked up their menu and saw they offered brunch. Oh man, I thought, that’s my favorite thing to do! I search high and low for great brunching spots all year long, so I was extremely excited to try Souk’s.

Belly Dancing!

When I arrived and first walked in the front door of Souk I heard a, “Can I help you sir?” from a soft voice. I love it when a restaurant staff is trained to speak to you right when you enter the restaurant. It’s a little thing I like to call “outstanding customer service.” Acknowledging you’re there makes you feel comfortable and starts the dining experience off with warm fuzzes. It’s always noticed and appreciated. I looked around and noticed all the fantastic decorations and beautiful Moroccan theme. I felt very comfortable and fell in love with the coziness and warmth of the restaurant right away. I loved it all even the extra mile that went into even the most minuscule of details.

Getting Lazy On Magnolia!

Two dogs on top of a building with lights.

Good Day,
When I was a teenager, you didn’t want to be anywhere near Magnolia Ave. in Fort Worth. Magnolia Ave. was full of all kinds of surprises. Surprises you wanted no part of, for any reason. But that was then, and this is now! Magnolia Ave. is one of the hottest places to be in the Fort Worth-Dallas area these days. It has changed so much with all the new construction, remodeling, and updates A red and green logo of the symbol for tiktok.that it’s only getting better by the day. Magnolia is full of restaurants, bars, art galleries, shops, retail spaces, and they’re building two new hotels called, “Boutique Hotels.” It’s just a fantastic place to dine, drink, socialize, shop, and get your art fix on
A friend of mine called me a month ago and said, “Trey, have you been to the ‘Lazy Moose’ on Magnolia Ave.? You would love it!”

A red and green logo of the symbol for tiktok. To which I replied, “‘Can’t say I have!” After I had received that phone call, I started thinking, “‘Lazy Moose,’ that’s a cool name.” I kept picturing a moose, just strolling down Magnolia taking his time- slow and steady! I couldn’t take it; I immediately headed for the Lazy Moose. When I opened the door and heard, “Hello, come on in!” I knew I was going to like it. If you follow me at all, you know I love it when folks make an effort to acknowledge you after entering, it lets you know they care.

I started looking around, and I saw a big fireplace, some leather couches, and chairs. I saw beautiful tables, comfortable bar stools, and noticed animal mounts hanging on the walls. I took in the dark, rich colors around me and the bar area. They have the furniture set up in the shape of a small living room so you can socialize and well, get lazy at the Lazy Moose. Once you sit in the comfortable chairs or those fluffy couches, you won’t wanna get up.
The staff is super friendly, helpful, and enjoyable to be around. The Lazy Moose offers craft cocktails, beer, wine and all kinds of reasons for you to relax and unwind.A red and green logo of the symbol for tiktok. One of the many great things about this establishment is the incredible chef-driven menu featuring some tasty, creative cuisine. I’ve tried just about everything on the menu, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all the deliciousness they offer in each and every dish. I love the “polenta fries,” “moose wings,” and “sweet potato fries!”
I see newless, places open every day in the Fort Worth-Dallas area, but the Lazy Moose is definitely a great treasure. You can stop in for a glass of wine or a snack and unwind for a bit. You can meet friends and socialize all night, or you can even stop by solo, get cozy, have a cold one, and feel right at home. Whichever you choose, I would get to the Lazy Moose ASAP to get L-A-Z-Y. I’ve been back five times now and can promise you; you will fall in love with the moose- I sure did! Be sure and tell Jason and the team hello!

Love Y’all and God B

Cannon Chinese Kitchen was built and designed in an old home on the South Side close to Magnolia Ave. on Cannon Street. Blaze Is A Blazing!

“Meat Eater” from Blaze

Good Day,
I always say, if someone doesn’t like pizza or bacon then keep one eye on them all the time, because they have got to be a bit SHIFTY!
I was told about “Blaze Pizza” some time back, but being in the restaurant business all my life it is unfair to do a review when a place first opens. You need a couple of visits, and you need to socialize with some people at the restaurant to get a better feeling for a place.

Sugarfina Candy Land Opulence!

A group of people standing in front of a store.

Hello Candy Lovers,

A red and green logo of the symbol for tiktok.
Candy, Candy, Candy!

A red and green logo of the symbol for tiktok.Last week I heard a new candy store called Sugarfina opened at NorthPark Center in Dallas. I immediately stopped what I was doing, and Google’d “Sugarfina.” If you know anything at all about me, I’m a complete candy and sweets junkie. I grew up on Haribo Gummy products and even toured the Haribo Gummy factory in Germany when I was a boy.
When I heard the word “Sugarfina,” my senses went into overdrive, and I had thoughts of dancing gummies, chocolate bars, and pecan clusters just laid out waiting to be picked and eaten. But, when I looked it up, it said Sugarfina; A Candy Boutique? So in my Texan brain, I thought “Oh, a Candy Boutique? Are they selling candy dresses, shoes, purses, and candy jewelry?” Whatever it was I had to get to the opening and check this out.
