When we received the call to check out The Clara Hotel, Plano’s newest gem, in the Hilton Tapestry collection, we knew we had to explore it. Every Tapestry Collection hotel tells a distinctive story through its art, architecture, design, dining, and local touches. What we discovered was “Quiet Elegance,” a sanctuary right in the heart of the city—a place to lose yourself in tranquility, complemented by delicious chef-driven dishes and a cozy, resort-like pool area perfect for socializing and having a great time.
As soon as we arrived and received our key, we ventured up to our corner suite that felt both cozy and inviting. With its beautiful living area, sumptuous king-size bed, and a fantastic outdoor patio overlooking Plano, it was the perfect retreat. The suite is thoughtfully designed with a modern aesthetic that emphasizes comfort and ease right from the moment you open that door. it’s cozy, charming and comforting.
If you appreciate chef-driven culinary delights, then Field & Vine is a must-try under the talented direction of Chef Daniel and his masterful culinary team. They serve fresh, seasonal dishes, and Chef Daniel even cultivates some of his own herbs and vegetables in the hotel garden. When we say it’s fresh, it truly doesn’t get any fresher than that. You can simply discover delightful dining at Field & Vine, where seasonal ingredients meet warm hospitality in a setting designed for lingering.
And don’t miss out on the nightlife at the August Speakeasy, a hidden retreat from your troubles and the bustling city life. But first, you’ll need to get your personal code to enter. This cozy cocktail room is about low light, thoughtfully crafted drinks, and an alluring atmosphere. It’s not a boisterous night out; it’s about finding direction in your evening. The name suggests a sense of aim and discovery—not in a literal sense, but as an experience. Here, the best nights happen spontaneously, just like it did for us. You will love this I am sure of it!
The Clara Hotel is a genuine oasis in the city, and it’s undoubtedly worth a visit. We travel the USA and Texas to find the best, and The Clara stands out at the top. It’s officially recognized as an approved destination by Trey’s Chow Down Travel and Delicious Destinations in North Texas.
